Two Shepherds Vermentino Lodi The Bench 2024

About the Wine: A pale white with a ton of freshness. Aromas of honeysuckle and citrus over a wet-stone. It is crisp and light, with grapefruit and lime zest, a gravelly minerality, and bright, refreshing tartness. Low in alcohol and easy-drinking — a natural apéritif and a friend to fried, spicy, or salty food. Some say it's an alternative to work.
About the Producer: William Allen and Karen Daenen run Two Shepherds out of Sonoma, specializing in Rhône and rare varieties from old-vine, organically farmed sites across Northern California. Winemaking is natural and strategically hands-off: native yeast, neutral barrels, and no fining or filtration. They also farm their estate alongside mini donkeys and goats that roam the vineyards, contributing what they can to the local terrior.
