Quinta de Santiago Assinatura de Familia Vinho Verde 2024
In stock
About the Wine: It is a bright, artisanal white blend (Arinto, Trajadura, and Loureiro) from northern Portugal. Vibrant aromas of frosted lemon, grapefruit, and ocean air, paired with a high-energy, mouthwatering palate of green apple and racy, stony minerality.
About the Producer: A family farm in Monção since 1899, Quinta de Santiago switched from selling grapes to bottling its own in 2009. The encouragement came from 86-year-old grandmother Mariazinha, who challenged the family to return to their roots. Today Joana Santiago, a former lawyer, leads the estate, farming organically and fermenting on native yeast, not widespread in Vinho Verde.
