About the Wine: A light(+) to medium-bodied red with a pale ruby color. On the nose, it leans toward fresh red fruit — cherry and cranberry — with a touch of spice. On the palate, it is smooth and bright, with silky tannins (that gentle drying feel) and just enough tartness to keep it lively. An easygoing, food-friendly style rather than a big, heavy red.
About the Producer: Landmass was founded in 2018 by partners in life and business Melaney Schmidt and Malia Myers, a small women-owned Oregon label built around sourcing fruit from distinct sites across the Pacific Northwest — the "land masses" of the name.
