Foxwood is a woman-owned woodworking studio that specializes in creating handcrafted, functional art that honors the natural beauty of wood by featuring high contrast colors and visual textures throughout our range of products. All items are made using hardwoods such as walnut, oak, cherry, padauk, purpleheart, chechen, sapele, or other exotic woods as found, so colors and visual textures truly vary across each piece. Glue used on all products is Titebond II Premium which is FDA approved for indirect food contact and boards are finished with Walrus Cutting Board Oil and beeswax (foodsafe).
Small Boards: Dimensions vary but are typically 9 3/4 x 6 1/4” x 5/8" thick. This size is great for quick use or travel - cut up an apple, top a few strawberries, bring on a picnic to slice cheese. This size is honestly the most used in my kitchen!
