The Wine: Seresin is a longtime organic producer, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is made from organically grown fruit, with wild fermentation, a small amount of barrel aging on lees, and a 10% addition of Sémillon that gives the wine extra shape and quiet depth. 

2023 Seresin Sauvignon Blanc is a textured, quietly flinty expression of Marlborough. It opens with aromas of key lime, lemon confit, and passion fruit, lifted by green herbs and a faint smoky note. On the palate, it is light- to medium-bodied and creamy, with fresh acidity, citrus and orchard fruit, and a long finish that stays mineral, subtle, and finely poised.

Pairing: Mussels with garlic and white wine (use this wine!), goat cheese tart, cucumber salad with dill and yogurt, or a platter of smoked fish, herbs, or just a fresh batch of french fries.
